All Council meetings are held at Mingo KofC 4361 Hall Meeting are held the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month and starts at 7:30pm.. Council 4361 received it's charter from
Supreme Office in March 10, 1957 with the first meetings
held in St. Agnes Church Hall. In 1960 they moved their
council meetings into the old Annunciation Church after a
new church was built in 1960. In 1972, they embarked on a
building plan for a new hall and moved in November of that
year. The council is named after the Late Monsignor Joseph
F. Dooley, who was pastorof St. Agnes Parish from 1916-1953.
Monsignor Dooley passed away in November 18, 1961. In 2000,
Grand Knight Larry Campbell formed a committee to build a
Grotto in front of the council building. In honor of our
church (Former Annunciation Church) that had a fire, then
closed. The Grotto is named Our Lady of Annunciation, was
dedicated on July 30, 2000. The Grotto has the red brick
that was at the church and a statue of Mary. In April 20,
2007, Grand Knight Shawn Zarych along with other Brother
Knights helped celebrated the 50th Anniversary of our
council. |
